This Delivery Policy applies to “https://www.jwbasics.com” (hereinafter, "us", "we", “our”, "store", "the store", "website", "this website", “www.jwbasics.com” or "https://www.jwbasics.com"). Customer Satisfaction is apart of our company's vision, therefore we strive to ensure that our customers are totally satisfied with our services. JW Basics knows that the success of our business lies with our customers happiness, therefore, we place great emphasis on the punctual delivery of all items. This page “Delivery Policy”, informs you of our policies regarding the delivery of items purchased directly from us, using this website.
Thank you for your purchase, as you eagerly await your new product(s) we hope that you are completely satisfied with our services thus far and thank you in advance for sharing our platform with friends and family! Below you will find our delivery policy which outlines the guidelines we use to get the product(s) into your hands after a successful purchase.
- We offer 1 - 2 Business Days Paid Door Delivery to anywhere in Jamaica on all items except Custom Designed products which may take up to 1 Week. We charge a flat delivery fee of $600 JMD.
- All orders made on weekdays will be processed immediately.
- All orders made over the weekend will be processed on the following Monday, at 7 AM.
All customers are encouraged to personally collect their items when delivered. You will be asked to present an official Picture ID (Work ID, Voters ID, Drivers License or Passport) before the package is released. In any case, you are unavailable and you require another person to pick up your order, please email us from the email address on your store account. Please note that the authorized person will also be required to present their ID to collect the item(s) at the delivery location. In the email, please provide the following details:
- Email Subject: Authorize Item Pickup
- Order ID
- Customer Name
- Item Name
- The full name and contact number of the individual you would like to collect your item on your behalf.

Dear JW Basics,
My name is [Customer Name],
I will be unavailable to pick up my item(s) [Item Name(s)], Order ID: [ID]. I would like Mr./Ms./Mrs./ [Fullname] to accept my package on my behalf. Contact information: [Telephone], [Email Address].
Please note that email instructions sent to us from your account email will be actioned without validation. Please make every effort to secure your personal email used for store communication. JW Basics will not take responsibility for loss or damages due to emailed pickup instructions actioned when sent to us by customers.
We encourage customers not to miss the delivery of their item(s). If a customer misses their package delivery, they will be charged the full delivery fee to return the item(s) within 3 - 5 Business Days from the missed delivery date. If the second delivery is missed, customers are required to pay for all subsequent delivery of the item(s) and applicable storage fees $70 JMD per Square Foot per Month (Minimum 1 Square Foot is charged for small items).
An item can only be canceled on or before it is delivered (Orders cancelled on delivery will forfeit the delivery fees). If an item is already delivered and customers opt to cancel the order, you can refuse the item or follow the Return Policy to return the item(s) to JW Basics.
Delivery Information Changes
Although most changes are likely to be very minor, we may change our Delivery Policy from time to time, and in our sole discretion. We encourage our visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to our Delivery Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Delivery Policy will constitute your acceptance of such changes.
